This sign was created for Black Suit Tattoo of San José, CA. The sign, like most psychedelic lights of the 1970’s, reacts to sound. Once on, music or ambient sound control five frequencies within the case to activate Christmas light bulbs of various colors. Sensitivity can also be controlled through an external switch on the back of the enclosure.
The paint scheme is inspired by vintage colors found on Lowrider Magazine covers, font and cultural aesthetics. This light measures a whopping 4ft in length, easily one of the largest psychedelic lights currently in production and sure to be a show stopper.
